Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

I have no issue calling out Zelensky. But people need to stop with this Putin and Russia victim narrative.

Who is saying that Putin/Russia are the victim? We are just saying they aren't the aggressor here.

These exaggerations are hysterical.

Its interesting the juxtaposition here.

Ukraine being the 'good' guys is actually a widely held position. Makes no sense.

I'm shocked that a Pro-Russian person that loves their country led the country and started to resent the fact the West was politicking to bring in former soviet territories into NATO. SHOCKED.

They can resent it all they want. That isn't a valid reason. When the USSR fell, they lost the ability to control these nations. Instead, they have actively have funded and stoked the fires of instability in an effort to regain control in the region. If you are consistently acting aggressively, that makes you aggressive, not a victim.

Which again, is a false narrative.

If you aren't an aggressor in a fight then what are you? Russia isn't defending itself. They have actively and consistently sought to re-occupy former territories since the end of the Cold War.

Who says it isn’t a valid reason? You? Europe? USA?

Do you think that matters to the Russian people and their leaders?

Did Germany have a valid reason to invade Europe and kill millions of Jews in WWII? GTFOH dude. I don't give 2 ****s and a **** what Putin thinks is valid.

Instead of working to stabilize the region and improve the quality of life for it's citizens, it's leaders would rather conquer other nations in a push for Geo-political power and a pursuit to regain former glory

What happened in Maidan? I understand why you are ignoring the question.

What specifically are you asking about? I'm not dodging anything. You asked 1 vague question barely 10 min ago.

The fact you don’t understand the question leads me to believe you don’t understand why Russia invaded at all.

Go look into the maidan revolution and how the west caused it resulting in a pro Russian democratically elected president being overthrown.

I know exactly what happened in Maidan. Do you understand WHY he was overthrown and why it was such a popular movement in the country? He most certainly did not run as a "Pro Russian" nominee.

"The West" causing it is unbelievably lauighable. You legit sound like a Russian bot.

This is also incorrect. The Treaty of Versailles is what directly led to the rise of the Nazi party. I mean this accepted by virtually everyone.

Jt';s not true, without the depression (which wasn't caused by the Treaty of Versailles) the radical nazis wouldn't have gained power.

Their whole appeal to the average German was opposition to the Weimar Republic.

By the logic of look at this thing, you could blame it on the Weimar Republic for not executing hitler after his coup

OMG a candidate wasn’t truthful? Time to overthrow the election!

It was certainly a popular movement amongst the pro west western part of the country. Shame they had an election though where everyone got a say.
