Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Where was this outrage with Biden and the Afghanistan removal? That did FAR more damage to Afghani's that this ever will.
This isn’t a one-party gripe. Biden and company had 4 years to help interpreters and others that risked their lives for us. I don’t expect the Trump administration to have friendly policies in this regard, but what we’ve done to some of these people is unforgivable.

If I recall, my concerns on the Afghanistan withdrawal were indeed with this side of it. We should have welcomed more refugees and ensured every person we owed was out safely.

its kinda hilarious that the magadonians spent years daily posting about polls and golden ages, only to disappear when the god is back in charge

Or maybe just, you know, not have adhered to the Peace Accords when the other side was blatantly breaking their side of the deal.

The decision to indict prompted the resignation of a supervisor in the U.S. attorney’s office in Tennessee that brought the charges, according to two people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it.

Ben Schrader, who had worked as a federal prosecutor in Nashville for nearly 15 years, stepped down two weeks ago as the indictment was returned under seal. Reached on his cellphone Friday, Schrader declined to comment.

will be interesting to see how this plays out...my guess is the DoJ is keeping its fingers crossed in the hopes that the judge will toss this case before it goes to trial...personally i hope it does go to trial and that the defense is given full discovery with respects to the machinations within the DoJ that led to this indictment

Yeah, the more I read about this, the more it stinks. Silly me for thinking they’d just bring him back as legally required to and then adhere to the law.

it is a face-saving way to bring him back...at least they are complying with the judge's orders in facilitating his return

this is where trump can win back support... cleaning up the mess of the insane left

The logical culmination of the contention (often expressed) that the country has been invaded by an army of illegal immigrants. Liberate LA!! Make America safe from those dog-eating and cat-eating people!!

I'm going to guess that the local authorities will decline to participate in the liberation of LA.

They have better options. Such as seceding and joining Canada. The new country could be called the United Woke Folk Republic. Oregon and Washington will probably be happy to join.

As far as I can tell, Miller is describing *checks notes* driving illegal immigrants from Texas to other parts of the country.

Let me predict the future...... I dont know the validity of the charges but if convicted he likely wont get out before a Dem is in office. They will pardon him and make him a citizen. If he already in El Salvadore already they will cut them off to trade with US until he is returned. Then he will sue and using the new Babbit precedent to order the US attorney agree to a settlement. Bukele might even face human trafficking charges if they can get him into US custody.
