8/12 GDT: Strider, The Bruján, and The Drake vs. The La Guardia Flight Path

He is very literally throwing fastballs directly down the middle. Why in the hell would you do that? And he's doing it multiple times over and over again. Lmao

253 seems like a low number for the all time franchise HR leader. Only the Padres and Diamondbacks have lower numbers. Padres have a shocking number of 169 HR for their all time leader, and it's Machado.

Arm injury or not..,,it's 1000000% should be a concern that strider's fastball is as flat as snake nuts....what a terrible contract this going to be.

Strider should be our closer next season. His starting days are over
you'll see the Braves spend big on someone like Kyle Tucker before there's even a remote chance of Strider being moved into the closer role.

You're also completely wasting his value by doing that. He's coming back from major surgery and having bumps, it's totally normal. In the end, he's been valuable in his limited work this year.

I have already said strider should be in the pen the rest of the season. Short burst would be better for his arm while building his muscles back up.

I agree they won't start him in the pen. He'll just have to be moved after a month of getting destroyed

The biggest issue is that I think you guys are being totally serious. He will be fine. This shit just happens after major surgery. Hell, he had these type of blow up games pre-surgery so this shouldn't be shocking in the slightest.
