Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

We live in a widely bifurcated economy. If you make min 400k per year with a family you can enjoy life and all it has. Otherwise, it’s pretty bleak out there in terms of discretionary spend for vacations.
Haha wut?

If you're not in the top say 10% minimum (according to what I'm seeing, from 2023 where under 20% of households have an income over 200k) you have no discretionary spend lol.

Im sorry dude. Youre the man of ultimate empathy for criminals but can't seem to put yourself in the shoes of someone like me who its been made very clear to in the last month that the mainstream position of the democratic party is my death would be a good thing.

He's running to be the top prosecuter of the state. We see how he will treat his political enemies (Rittenhouse) and what he thinks of us.

That every democrat has demanded he stepped down is a black mark on the party

"Hoping he loses" is a fun hedge sentiment... but the call should be he should never be heard from in politics again
You’re still just doing the thing you’ve complained about for years and using mean words as a substitute for actual actions. If your complaint is that the Dems are spineless for not trying to find a candidate that doesn’t suck and say stupid shit, that’s super fair and they deserve to lose. But to pretend that this is some sort of sign that Dems are explicitly endorsing violence or that Jay Jones is going to do violence himself is still a bit much for me.

Im in a very good financial position, so im grateful for that.

But I really dont understand how a middle class earner is doing it these days.

I can't leave the house without spending $200.

Thats not even touching the fact that a $100k salary is the same as $60k just 5 years

You're the one who wants to imprison and kill people. But somehow the left is terrible.

In response to egregious crimes committed as well as social engineering destroying the country. Yes, I agree.

Our ideas of discretionary spend are different.

I have no interest in taking budgeted vacations. I'd rather stay home in my nice house or go update and hike in the mountains.

They have no shot with a family unless you make 400K to take a 'nice' vacation.

The appropriate "action" would be for Shelby Spanberger to call for him to drop out. For Shumer to do the same. For Kamala to do the same.

"It is clear feelings like this would make it impossible for the electorate to trust he can fulfill is role is a just and fair manner"

They are silent. They are endorsing it is as OK

It is in effect an approval of said violence. Otherwise, they'd force him out yesterday.

This is where Libertarians need to be more pragmatic. I think chop you’re almost there but these “communist” acts are really just national security issues.

We absolutely need to be lapping the field in robotics and AI. There is no other option so the government needs to be a part of that process. If the CCP didn’t exist then acts like this are awful and shouldn’t be happening.

Conversely, you’re taking a 50/50 issue and elevating it to a priority in which you have a mandate to accomplish it by any means necessary, including the deployment of troops in areas of the country that likely don’t see it as a 50/50 issue.
Not sure about you but a net issue isn’t yhe same as a +12 one. Also the trend line is one that is increasing thst margin.

We’d all happily be on board if Miller shows us the evidence of “a vast underlying organization funding” left wing violence. That was the question asked by the reporter. Miller didn’t answer that question. Show us the evidence. And by evidence I mean actual evidence. Not the vibes and feels that passes as “evidence” that the 2020 election was stolen.

During an ongoing operation? That’s your expectation?

I’m sure those pallets of bricks showed up out of nowhere during the 2020 riots right?
