San Antonio bbq was a massive disappointment. I heard so much about Texas bbq and have eaten better at Georgia chains than I could find in San Antonio.

ATX BBQ is as advertised. Franklin’s or Interstellar. Can’t go wrong with either

Its legit bad.

We have a Michelin star place but you basically gotta get in line at 8am to have a chance to get some and im not doing that

So I just eat the smoked turkey and load up in Austin when im there for work

It’s not my cup of tea. But that’s more of an indictment on Philadelphians than the city itself. Nice food and boy do they love Wawa.

Philly is my preference to NYC. NYC feels much more claustrophobic. Philly is like a city I can walk around and not feel like I"m constricted by buildings and cars.

NYC 100% has a ton of advantages and I get why people like it. It just makes me more crazy than Philly. The cultural tie to Wawa is crazy though. Like Wawa is fine. It used to be better. But it's not different than basically any other convenience store. It's all quick bake/nuked food. I wouldn't be shocked if by now everything is coming from Sysco.

Texas Monthly's number 1 spot this year is in Seguin which is like 40ish miles. BUt if you don't want to stand in line at 8 I can't imagine you want to drive 40 minutes to an hour away to stand in line at 8 am.

Ive heard of that one too. I just cant get motivated to be up early plus stand in line for a lunch. Maybe I'll get my nanny to do it for me

I figure I need to make it down to San Antonio a couple times this winter to watch Wemby play. Who knows how long his body will allow him to keep this up, but not too often you get to see an alien in real life

Not a huge NBA fan but need to get to a spurs game. I keep waiting on my wife's boss to get us a box but it hasn't came yet haha

If you wanna catch a game this year count me in. Spurs look to be legit
