Thom Tillis alone can kill Fed nominations from even getting out of committee if this doesn't go away and you could well have ended your chances of a 100% Trump aligned Fed chair.

And no, this is not about fraud. It's about wanting Powell to go away so you have more influence over the Fed. But the thing this is doing is making it more likely he serves out his term.

So tell us Jerome - what exactly are the cost overruns. What vendors received payment for them. Was due diligence was done on these vendors. Who are the principal owners of these vendors. Do you or any others have personal / business relationships with theee vendors.

So many questions that were asked quietly but the answer must be so outrageous Powell had to run to a camera to politicize.

Half of MAGA is all-in on Jerome Powell being brought to justice and the other half is laughing at fools on the left that think this is anything more than the DOJ kindly following up on a referral which won’t go anywhere.

Powell is a political tool that helps autopen when needed and is almost universally considered late on rate cuts for Trump.

He also feels he doesn’t need to answer to the president or Congress when asked questions.

Powell is the good guy though
