It's almost like it costs money to run and maintain the biggest and best city in the world. It's almost like if you dont' need to spend money on things like expensive maintenance of a traffic congested city, of servicing public transportation, etc. that you can have a lower budget.

Couple that with NY spending more for healthcare which leads to things like their lower infant mortality rate, you can decide which state you prefer to live in. I can see people making cases for both. Personally I wouldn't own land in florida. I'd want ot be away from the coast or at higher elevation.
