Great - This is the start of a radical change in supply chains. Its not settled by the start of year 2.

Do you know what PE is great at? Buying a company and then SLASHING COSTS while maintaining at minimum the same operational effectiveness.

We will get better at producing and those costs will go down over time (hello weakened dollar to increase exports!).

This is a great thing Chop and its only going to get better from here!

Yeah Chop, you big dummy. Paying more for goods than the rest of the world is the ultimate goal here. Also, tariffs don’t increase prices and so I think this graph was showing the cost to foreign producers.

Cool - This is the price of goods now after a drastic chagne in the supply chain. Lets see this chart in 6 months or in 12.

Q1 is already looking like we are headed for an incredible year (as I told you to much mockery). Keep this in mind when we see where prices head in the future.

The thing that will eventually radicalize me will be things like the fact that two companies owned and controlled by the same person can just become one company doing the same things and it has wide-ranging impacts on the overall economy. I understand how it works, but it’s the kind of societally valueless finance thing that makes me question why we don’t just burn it all down.

Well this Tesla holder is very happy about the future - Get in before optimus is widely adopted.

Why would a company merging with another company make you want to burn down society?

I really don’t find it that weird that a technology company (robotics, auto manufacturing) merged with a rocket company.

Most major auto manufacturer manufacture or have manufactured jet engines. Honda specifically manufacture rocketry to launch satellites into space.

Even more specifically, Ford has made aerospace parts for Boeing so the idea those two merging isn’t some wacky new concept like “my dog is now my teacher”

I think the only thing that really matters to both of you is that Elon is involved otherwise I doubt you’d even care this is happening.

I was being hyperbolic, I’m not actually angry but when I sit and think about the absurd complications of the economy and how capital is managed, it breaks my brain.

I don't care. I just think it's slightly peculiar, I wonder the general motivation. I'm guessing Elon is doing it because of his latest compensation package and he's looking to jack up the value of Tesla. Also I mean I wish my dog was my teacher, I could have bribed my way to not going to class and getting an A.

Frito lay telling vendors they are dropping prices .40-.60 per bag of snacks

For same size
Wow so your'e telling me the bag of lays instead of being 5 dollars a bag will be 4.50. Now I can get that and a 20 oz coke for 6 bucks. YEEHAH

HALLALUJER I'M SAVED

Mind you the only Frito Lay product i buy is doritos because I'd much rather have Utz than Lays which are cheaper and taste better. And aside from road trip snacks, I've never bought chips not on sale. But I am shocked that the company who makes products from the cheapest ingredients found the ceiling of what they could charge and elected to drop it. SHOCKED.
