I think many just thought after the deal was completed about this time last year and they emerged from bankruptcy, that it was all behind. But it's obvious now that it wasn't the case. I don't know how anyone can trust that company to stay around long term. Just let them go.
 
In some researching, aka, Googling, Victory+ has done some work with the Texas Rangers as well as the NHL’s Dallas Stars and Anaheim Ducks. I don’t know much of anything about them to definitely say they’ll be a good option for the Braves.

Main Street Sports Group basically has until Saturday to get something lined up or they’re basically done. I’m not sure there’s much reason to think they will. Certainly not to the satisfaction of the teams they broadcast.
 
One interesting thing to me is that the Royals said this past weekend that they wanted stay with MSSG on the condition that they would be assured there would be no interruption during the season. The fact they will have MLB do their broadcasts now after saying that shows the lack of belief in MSSG
 
I have been lurking for years and not signed back in for maybe 6 years. A lot went on during that time so I just followed and didn't post. I retired, lost my parents and my mother in law in a four month period, had to probate two estates, all three kids got married, and so on...I just thought I'd sign back in, post occasionally, I've got way too much time on my hands...saw the blue box from the Braves and thought I'd finally chime in. Keep it lively, this board cracks me up 🤣
