One point that is made in here... Trump has picked fights internally with MTG and Massie. The idea that these two - especially Massie - are just gonna lie down and take it - is not gonna happen

Trump has primaries Massie twice (and failed)... he has attacked his dead wife, attacked his current wife... and gets mad when someone punches back?

Fuck that. Massie is an actual fighter. He is the solution. Trump is the problem

I’d love it if Massie didn’t consistently vote against party lines when we need votes. Hard to ask?

I’d also love it if he wasn’t against making America more powerful or safe but he has consistently spoken out against these actions under the guise of “costs”.

Yes, if he doesn’t think those bills uphold the constitution or are in the best interest of his constituents. The “Party line” is the biggest flaw in our government.

Sure sure sure - I’m glad we have principled people while the left votes lock step with each other every single time.

Again - Massises ideas are great in a world we are t dealing with a major political party that wants to destroy the country.

I wish we had more principled people like Massie on the left. One of the primary differences is that Massie is an actual, for realsies fiscal responsibility and small government conservative. That breed has been effectively run out of town in favor of MAGA acolytes who do whatever Trump needs for political convenience.

This has been a bug for the left for a decade as well, but the more “principled” in the Democratic Party are generally the Progressives whose principles don’t necessarily align with prudent governance. He’ll break from the party on issues that are important to them, but they tend to be the types of issues that don’t stop the government from passing funding bills.

But you don’t and you always vote as a party. I wish we’d be in a system where democrats didn’t openly root for Americans destruction but here we are and we need all votes.

It requires standing up to party leadership and I've seen nobody do that yet

Massie is a modern day Ron paul. The people who say we should have listened to Ron paul are the same people saying we have to get rid of Massie

And in a world where we didn’t have a Marxist opposition party Massie would be welcomed. That’s not the reality we live in though sadly.

Anyone on the left who acted like Massie you'd hate the most and call a commie because the liberal version of a small government conservative who stands by their principals, is ultra liberal.

Correct. The liberal version is someone id hate, but they dont exist. They will vote how Shumer tells them to vote
