This is the issue. Their insecurity led them to try to be super unique. “This will get me attention for sure!” Now everyone either openly accommodates them or wants them dead, that way they can continue feeding the persecution complex. “I don’t feel this way because I’m insecure, it’s because so many people hate me for living my truth!”
So many of these kids could have been saved if their parents had loved them enough to slap their face and tell them to quit being stupid when they announced they were a they/them/her/him/it/whatever.

While I agree, the overuse of the Matt Walsh invented trap has really lessened its sting. If we’re talking about hiring practices, sports, political appointments, even a SC nominee, it’s pretty effective. I’m not sure how Ms. Mace finds it relevant in an immigration hearing and suspect she just doesn’t have any intelligent questions of her own to ask.

These are the things that annoy me about the culture war. This isn’t a trans person trying to promote any ideology or be allowed somewhere you don’t want them to be or commit some act of violence. It’s a person who feels bad and is sharing that they feel bad in a Reddit group that is specifically for trans people to talk about their lives. There’s no reason to go into that community and go looking for silly threads to share to your audience of people who dislike trans people besides being a dick.
You can pretend that’s the intent behind this, but they just posted that to point and laugh at a person for venting to their friends about something they admit is nobody’s fault.
