Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

It ain’t that complicated. They cannot be trusted whatsoever.

I’m sorry it’s not going as poorly as you hoped
Kinda funny how MAGA was so adamant about no wars with Iran but your boy changes his mind and you guys can’t get on your knees fast enough.

And it’s going pretty poorly…

Not really. I believe crude is under 80 an we run the straight

Correct me if I’m off base there

Oh and Iran is gonna cave on Nukes

I’d say preventing the preeminent terror threat to have nukes is a pretty big fucking deal.

Or no?

Definitely 180 degrees from where you guys were but that’s not anything new

I hope it works out like this but I don’t see how anyone can have this level of optimism

I doubt who controls their media and who is actually negotiating are the same

Do you?
well I guess we can reevaluate the benefits of this war after they give us that uranium. Should be any day now.

But also to answer your question.. it’s specifically the person leading their negotiations who is publicly denying. So my answer is “yes”

What DJT and Americans in general overlook is that to Iran/Persia is not the war, but a battle within the war.

A war they've endured for thousands of year

To not appreciate that is, as they aptly put it, "naive."

We shouldn't overlook how malign and destabilizing an actor Iran has been throughout the region: in Lebanon, in Iraq, in Syria, in Gaza and elsewhere. We are in fact in a long-term conflict with them that encompasses many dimensions. Our conflict with them mostly stems from their attempts to exploit sectarianism for nefarious purposes. We have to make sure they don't come out of this particular phase of the conflict stronger.
