HELL YEAH!

In 2 years when the cap explodes this will look like a good deal. Kaep is a tremendous worker and iwll continue to get better. SO DAMN HAPPY RIGHT NOW!
 
Thats alot of money, not a horrific deal but it does hurt how you structure your team when your QB takes up a good chunk of your cap.
 
Holy ****, what a terrible contract.

Kap getting paid more than Rodgers and Cutler brings all the lulz.

Kaep getting more than Rodgers has to do with timing of when the contract. If Rodgers was a FA now he would easily get 24-26 per year.
 
Can't wait till Kaep fully breaks out this year. Last year he was screwed with the weapons on the team until Crabs got back and even then he was recovering from a bad injury. The offensive line was overrated last year as well.

Last 2 years. Cutler has a 60.7 Comp%, 4.8 TD% 3.3 INT% 7.2 Y/A 6.24 NY/A Kaepernick is at 59.8 Comp% 4.9 TD% 1.7 INT% 7.9 Y/A 6.78 NY/A

So Cutler has a slight comp advantage, and that's it. Kaepernick also faced tougher defenses and adds running value. Cutler sucks a big one.
 
Most guaranteed money by a quarterback of all time. I know contracts deal with the year and cap structure. This is a bad contract. 1/6th of the money tied up to one single player. Goodbye VD, Crabtree, Iupati, and Willis over the next few years. Oh yes did I mention Kaepernick has this mega deal without a ring.

Kap has weapons, a running game, a defense to provide him opportunities to not just drop back and throw everytime.

I know the Bears defense sucked this year, but they were the best in the NFL last year. As far as weapons, what do you call Marshall? Forte? Jeffery?

Those weapons did not materialize till the end of the season last year and then his numbers had a nice spike.
