Let's assume Bron to CLE, Melo to NY, and Bosh to HOU........why not Wade to the Bulls? There's nothing left in Miami if James and Bosh leave.
Wade won't leave Miami. I think he will be a figurehead for them for the next 50 years.

I think they have to. There whole mindset of not trading him is posturing. They absolutely need to get something back and Wiggins would be a great start to a deal.

Would be great for Wade but I don't see why the Bulls would want to do it. Wade is shot
Melo supposedly having second thoughts about the Bulls.
But he'll probably stick with his heart and be in purputal mediocrity for the next 5 years with the Knicks.
Lebron going back to Cleveland. Good for him. Should have never left.
I'm not sure I buy the Bulls as that much better than the Knicks. Rose basically hasn't played in 2 years...he's a massive risk. Considering the assets Chicago will have to shed to make room for Melo, they'd be one wrong cut away from Melo, Noah, and not a whole lot else. Not terribly different from the last few Knick years.
Why the assumption that the Knicks will be in perpetual mediocrity? They have no long term committments on the books. 14-15 will he a struggle, then they would have Melo and essentially a blank canvas. With Jackson in charge.
Bulls > Knicks right now, but let's not act like he's joining a roster on par with Miami, SA, or OKC. Chicago would still be far from a sure thing.
I was skeptical of the Knicks future but that first trade that Jackson made was brilliant. Coupled with future cap flexiblity and playing in NY I think the Knicks will be real good real soon. It would be great if they could get Melo at less than max though.

But the Bulls have a whole lot more than the Knicks do. Without Rose last year they were a decent team. The Knicks were awful with Melo. Who can the Knicks add outside of Melo to beat LeBron? The Knicks aren't going anywhere.
"Brilliant"? Let's n
ot act like they got a bunch of studs...or any at all. They got a couple decent players. Woo-hoo. It won't bring them anywhere close to competing. LeBron will have his pick of FAs in Cleveland before Melo. Knicks aren't doing anything.
Marc Gasol, Love, any number of free agents. They are projected to have room to add a max player and then some. They will have the flexibility to absorb a player in a sign and trade, something they can't do now. They won't be constrained financially from adding any player that becomes available.
I don't see Melo leaving $50M on the table which means the Bulls are going to have to shed some of what makes then attractive in the first place.
What free agents did he get to come to Cleveland in the first 7 years he was there?
BTW, if they want to send Wiggins this way, they can have Melo + LeBron.
