Isn't everyone comforted that we absolutely will not use our best pitcher in the 8th, 9th, 10th (etc) inning if this game is tied and a pitcher gets in trouble?

It is worrisome. He's going to be rusty. Hope we get to see him tonight (cause it will mean we are winning), but I want some insurance.

Fredi is going to Fredi. He trusts Laird and Doumit, so he hits with them.

Yet, the reason we are only 6 wins over .500 has a lot to do with this bench.
