Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize the season started two weeks ago. Please forgive me. Once again, you miss the point. Has he been doing well this year or not?

I don't argue that La Stella has been hitting well against lefties this year. My point is that this is not dispositive.

The fact that he's sitting though has nothing to do with righty-lefty. Otherwise, why is BJ in there? Heyward? And on and on.

Fredi said he is resting La Stella. My contention is we need a win and need everyone on there. Gosselin is a positive? Fine. Put him in the OF tonight for a game. BJ is awful this year.

Heyward (best hitter with less power)

JUp (best overall hitter)

TLS (slightly weaker hitter belongs in 3 hole)

Freeman (best power hitter)

Gattis (all or nothing power hitter)

BJ/Boni (to steal in front of singles hitters)

CJ (terrible singles hitter)

Simmons (even more terrible singles hitter)

pitcher (assuming we don't want to hit the pitcher 8th)

I like that. Having Bonifacio batting 6th might help keep CJ and Simmons from killing rallies with their double play grounders.
