This is what I was afraid of, Harang has started to fade a bit his last few starts. If that continues we'll be in trouble.
 
Umm...Are people really forgetting that Fredi yanked a young Hanley Ramirez out of the game for lolly gagging after a ball?
 
Wren has a trend recently with bad contracts and extensions to players turning out as bad as possible. CJ is the latest in the extension category because now he has the worst walk-to-strikeout ratio of any starter in the Majors, while also being the worst at hitting into DP's when not striking out. Then you add to that his terrible DRS and range numbers defensively at third and you have someone that has no business starting at third base.

No, I remember that but I also remember Hanley had been fueding with Fredi's boy Uggla around that time too. Regardless, that one time doesn't make for a track record for Fredi. There have been many times he should've done the same that he does nothing.
 
Also, can't say I'm interested in continuing to have Gattis at catcher past the season if he can't improve his abysmal ability to receive the ball. Cost us another run with that bull****.

It look like he got crossed up to me, seemed to be expecting a fastball or something other than the curve there. Plus he was doing quite well before his last injury, and aside from a bad week or so hasn't been bad.

Anyway, for all the talk about how great Bethancourt is defensively. He has 10 passed balls in AAA alone this year along with 3 PB with us (so 13 passed balls total). He has a great arm but is still rather overrated defensively. And he'd be a huge drop off from Gattis in the line-up on offense. Bethancourt has also too many throwing errors in the last two years, so while a strong arm it matters little if not at the base.

PS: I wouldn't be surprised if Bello (Cuban catcher) turned out better than Bethancourt. But I am thinking about more from an offensive stand point. Bello is also older than Gattis at 29 years old, so if he is going to help us he'll need to do so soon.
 
That ump is full of crap, strike two to Doumit was a mile outside. Yea he missed one but you cannot give the pitcher that wide a plate.
 
Absolutely ridiculous.....down 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th....1st and 2nd no outs and Doumit just stands there.....1 out bases loaded 2 batters later, simmons strikes out looking on a fastball down the heart of the plate.....terrible plate dicipline and lack of trying
