Alabama has a road game at LSU and two home games against Mississippi State and Aubrn
LSU has a home game against Alabama
Auburn has road games at Ole Miss and Alabama
Mississippi State has road games at Alabama and Ole Miss
Ole Miss has home games against Auburn and Mississippi State

The SEC West is going to be crazy in November.

My viewing tells me Alabama wins out and the others (exception maybe Auburn) are irrelevant
then Alabama gets slobberknockered by Georgia in SEC game.

Top 4 December 10 ?

FSU
Oregon
Georgia
Michigan State - maybe Alabama - maybe Notre Dame

Top 4:

Miss St
FSU
Notre Dame
Bama

I think the most likely teams to make the playoffs are FSU and Mich St.

Miss State Wes !!!

Did you see them yesterday -- that was no #1 team -- maybe top 5 until they have to play some one. But #1 ---
Coach said after the game the team was tight because they were rated #1 (how can you be #1 if you are afraid of being #!? )
and that playing @ Kentucky proves how tough the SEC schedule is --- I mean ...

Certainly hope you got to see Kentuck's onside kick. That had they recovered would have put them in position to tie with 2 minutes left

Wasn't their best game but that happens to top teams all the time. I just think they've been slightly more impressive this season compared to FSU. Don't forget that FSU had a bad game vs NCSU and barely squeeked out the win at home vs Notre Dame. Also that win at LSU is suddenly looking much more impressive for Miss St.

And what do you mean until they've played someone? They've already won at LSU and beat Auburn and A&M. Auburn is right up there with Notre Dame.

bad game ---- won 56-41
beat a top 4 team -- a legit top 4 team

LSU has no QB - A&M is an SEC ghost and Auburn --- perhaps we'll see.
What on earth was so impressive about LSU ? They turned the ball over and like I said, they have no QB.
Fact is, I haven't been impressed by any SEC QB in years

What? C'mon Man. You aren't impressed by Prescott? You weren't impressed by Manziel?

LSU is 7-2 with their only two losses against two top 5 teams, and they just beat a top 5 team and one of the Big Ten's best teams.

Finally the rankings that matter are being released this week. Will be able to have a much better idea just how these "non biased" ADs that sit on the committee view the teams.

LMAO.

SEC QB's have won half of the last 6 Heismans. And several others have been finalists over the last few yrs. And you're not impressed????

I guess you were impressed by Taj Boyd who didn't get drafted? Or were you more impressed by EJ Manuel and Christian Ponder?

TCU doesn't have the talent some of the best teams do, but Gary Patterson is one of the top 5-10 coaches in the nation, imo.

Not sure if they are Top 4, but they aren't too far behind.

My terrible attempt to predict the first playoff rankings for 1-15.

1.Mississippi State
2.Florida State
3.Alabama
4.Auburn
5.Notre Dame
6.Oregon
7.Ole Miss
8.TCU
9.Michigan State
10.Georgia
11.Kansas State
12.Baylor
13.Ohio State
14.Arizona
15.Arizona State

Any one of us on this board could do as good of a job as this stupid selection committee could do. I guarantee you get all of us posting in this thread together in a room and we'd come up with a decent top 4.

Mississippi State, Bama, FSU, and then either Michigan state or Oregon if everyone wins out.

Although if ND can handle Arizona State and USC with ease, they'd have to be the second best one lose team next to 'Bama
