Except that didn't happen. They lost a lot but every team loses a lot. First off you can't count Aldon, They knew he was a dumbass when they drafted him, it was a risk with him and the risk got burned. It would be like if a team signed Kris Medlen and cried cause he got hurt, dude's arm is wrecked, and Aldon Smith had big red flags on him when he was drafted. WIllis and Bowman sucked, they were big blows. After that they only guys they've lost entirely worth a damn is Kilgore. Before thethe comes in here hyping Dorsey, he's a fat load, which is why another fat load was able to come in and do his job as well. He isn't special. He's fat and hard to move. Niners have lost a lot, they may very well come in as the most injured team of this season, but they're hardly and exception. Last year the GIants had the highest adjusted games lost in the NFL, where it stung them the hardest? Running back and offensive line.
We'll see where the Niners stack up in the worst injured in the last few years before we expand further.
Again, they lost 2 top 10 defensive players in the league. Other teams dealt with that?

Well considering they've been getting good value from their replacements, not ss much as some other teams and their injuries.
Whilhoite is meh. Borland was really good.

Arizona lost their QB. (Much bigger deal).
Denver lost two top 10 guys last year (Von miller and Chris Harris) and they went to the Super Bowl.
Seattle lost their best defensive lineman. Bobby Wagner. kam chancellor. And they've been fine.
It happens. It's not the reason you are scoring 7 points a game and losing to teams like the raiders.
You are right that its not the main reason. Kap is the main reason. But, the defense could have been even more dominant.

That's an overstatement. 2 of the top 4 or so ILBs, I"d agree with that, but top 10 defensive players? Don't know about that. Depends on your weight in certain positions. If you value CBs more, then they're not sniffing it, if you value controlling the line, same thing. But if you value tackling then yeah. Personally I'd say for sure top 10 players for me are limited to Watt, Sherman, Thomas, and Suh. After them, it gets dicey, do you take McCoy a beast in the middle. Where do you personally rank those 2 in there with Kuechly and other ILBs?

That would be nice, but it wouldn't solve the issues of Kaepernick sucking adn the run game stalling out. Gore seemingly got old and can't get over it, not that I blame him, it happens, it's the NFL, it sucks.
The playcalling was awful. Never committed to the run all year.

Kam missed like 3 games.
Wagner was a huge loss but he's back now.
Bowman has been out all year.
How quickly people forget about guys like Willis/Bowman.
I get it, they aren't in the discussion because they are hurt but when they play nobody is better than them at their position.

Bowman isn't on this list ever. Willis is two years ago.
Really? Most people thought Bowman eclipsed Willis last year.
