I've seen Foltynewicz pitch several times actually and the man can throw. He has a few control issues, but he's a very hard thrower. The kind of guy that Roger could turn into an absolute stud.

Sure let's just look at his numbers from one year. Because Teheran had such a great year his final season in AAA right? Foltynewicz has got some of the best pure stuff in the minors and is ready now. He's got great build for a pitcher and the frame to be a long term starter. Worst case he's a future dominant closer but he will absolutely be looked at as a starter. If he improves his command he's got front line starter written all over him. I also LOVE Ruiz.

I love it. I'm going to miss Gattis, but this trade has completely turned an already decent offseason into a very very good one.
