NBA Thread

You are right. Nobody can shoot with the exception being Korver. Not sure how they managed to make 16 three pointers though.

The Wizards lead the NBA in 3 point percentage and were 5-20 yesterday. 5-20 means more than the rest of the year.

(the Wizards don't have many shooters either)

Atlanta has the third highest 3 point percentage in the league while shooting while shooting the 8 most threes. Thats pretty damn good and is more than just Korver (even though he is as awesome as I said he was 4-5 years ago with your ridicule)

I have never said Korver isn't a good shooter. You have this woe is me thing were you think you are right and everyone else said something different. Kyle Korver has always been a shooter. He's just not a complete player.

Find somewhere on here where someone said Kyle Korver isn't a good shooter.

If you think that Korver is only a shooter then you really do not ever watch him play. Only reason I have this "woe is me" thing is that you and the usual suspects love to slam me all the time (all in good fun) and yet never seem to recognize things that you've slammed me for in the past that I've ended up being right on. Just wish you guys would realize that you aren't ALWAYS right.

There is nothing artificial about the contributions that Korver has to his team. Its more than just shooting and spacing. He isn't a great on the ball defender of course because he isn't an elite athlete but he understands rotations and how to get into passing lanes. Beal had some problems with him yesterday early in the game as well.

Im still waiting for Beal to justify all the hype that has been thrown his way.

The injury issues has really slowed him down this year. Guy is a lights out shooter that can create off the dribble for himself and others. He is only 21. What dd you expect him to be at this time?

FOr all the hype he gets, you would hope they he could occasionally win a game for you.....take over a game. He doesn't create his own shot, he's a 3 point shooter that plays solid defense. The Wiz lack a go to scorer and with the hype Beal gets, it should be him. (its unfortunately Wall bc he has to do everything)

Maybe Beal becomes a great player, heck an all star would be nice, but he still has a long way to go.

Prokhorov selling the Nets, was he not informed of the "TAKE OVVVVAAHHHHH"?

Also:

The #Nets will not own their own first round draft pick (without having to relinquish or swap it) until 2019.

We will see if someone dangles anything of value for Lopez in the coming weeks I am sure.

Regarding Dion Waiters. A nice little nugget of info.

So there is a professor here at the university I attend that was the former president of the North American sports economist association. He's written a few books about basketball analytics and is a close friend of Henry abbot. I'm his teaching assistant and I was just talking to him and he said that Dion waiters is on pace to be one of the worst players in the history of the NBA. #thethe

He's definitely not a great player thats for sure but the Thunder needed someone off the bench that can create his own shot. Reggie Jackson has been a cancer this year that they have to let go.

Please share how Reggie Jackson has been a "cancer"

I asked him if shot volume is a skill...

His response...

Only when it goes in.

Also, brule. This guy is severely anti Carmelo.
