What does Beverly shoot? What are his offensive numbers? Offensive rating?
Again, to define a player as average is to basic. Fits matter so much in basketball where a player can be bad on one team and good another. This is not an experiment performed in a vaccum. Finding the right players is an easy endeavor. Sure, it always helps to have as many great players as possible but not every player goes with every team.
There has been slippage in Lebrons game for sure.

While true... And I also acknowledge Harden would win MVP over him if the season ended today, LeBron has been incredible the last month since he came back from his vacation.

He didn't play well today, but my point was I think he will be the MVP by year's end.
It may not happen, but I don't believe that's an absurd prediction to make.
