Beth C

I'm personally a fan of the speed at the top of the lineup along with the balance up and down. Is that going to get the job done for us? Probably not. But, I think it could be a whole heck of a lot more fun than last year. If these guys can get on base (Simmons... Beth...), then it could be pretty decent!

If anyone was wondering what the worst offense in MLB will look like, there's your answer.

This team has two guys that can actually hit, so batting one of those two guys 5th is pretty dumb. However, this lineup will be lucky to score 550 runs this season, so the batting order really doesn't matter.

We won't be good, but watching a rebuilding team doesn't have to be depressing. Decaying tho... Poor phillie fans.

I hope everyone is pulling for Eury. He seems to be the most intriguing of the CF candidates.

Seeing Peterson projected to be the second baseman: Does that say more for Peterson's ability to make the team or how little is thought of Alberto Callaspo?

I vote we let them play the games anyway. Might surprise some of you.

If Alberto Callaspo and Chris Johnson are on the field at the same time, we're gonna have some terrible infield defense. I know nothing of Peterson, but he can't be worse than Callaspo.

It has more to do with Jace actually being a very solid player. No doubt in my mind he could be a solid everyday 2B

I'm on the bandwagon, but it looks like there's plenty of room. All he's done is hit so far in his pro career. Obviously the majors are a whole different animal, but I think he could maybe hit a little.

I'd personally go:

Peterson
Markakis
Freeman
....
and who the hell cares for the rest, really. damn.
that is also the slowest lineup of all time.

Let's at least let them play for a few weeks before we start arguing about lineups.

There is literally nothing to argue about. Put Freeman 3rd (unless you are new school and put him 2nd) and Bethancourt 8th and pick the rest out of a hat.
