Yes he is. The Braves' roster was loaded with talent. Last year didn't work out. The previous 4 did very much
That is sad
Makes me want those 80 wins over the 70.
It was a lineup built under the premise that strikeouts don't matter. Wren said as much in many interviews that his people crunched the numbers and felt that strikeouts didn't matter. Having one or two of those guys in a lineup is a smart idea to get some pop but a lineup built upon that principal is stupid and it eventually proved itself out.
I love this offense. I don't know what all the bitching has been about.
Can I get another 160 if I get to see that tongue?
It worked a couple years and didn't once. That's not proving itself out in the way you mean.
Listen, when you are given elite level talent at minimum salary dollras you have to be really awful at your job to not get a bunch of wins.
I'm going to go watch the Harry Potter movies and feel really sick and dirty in a good way.
Also if Wren is given credit for "winning" why isn't Fredi?

We get that you hated Wren but don't be ignorant
I think both of them should've been fired at the end of 2011.
