Beautiful ending to the inning. I'm guessing he only gets five, but I'm impressed that he's pushed through a game that he's clearly struggled without any runs allowed.
 
That should be all for Mr. Miller tonight. Not spectacular but overall good first outing as a Brave. Would like to see more offspeed from him late in the count next game.
 
Putting up a target AND framing. The way he catches and his glove is opening and closing several times and moving around. I would HATE pitching to that guy.
 
Miller got in 5 scoreless with pretty much just his fastball going tonight. Good job battling without much else working. Now the bullpen will be tested again.
 
Great 1st start by Shelby. Wasn't as sharp as I've seen in the past and struggled a bit with his secondary stuff but he battled. He's going to be tough to hit when he's on.

I think he realized (probably in the bullpen) that he didn't have his breaking stuff tonight. Nice job with basically just a fastball.
 
I thought Miller was fine. He struggled with his location within the strike zone which lead to some of those long at bats. I can definitely understand why everyone has been suggesting that he needs to master the two seamer. He needs a pitch to get some quick outs.
