1995 Atlanta Braves highlight film

The Glory Days. You truely do not understand the greatness and take for granted the success til it is stripped from you. Wow, what a run we had! Damn if we could have just won a few more postseason games, though.

Glavine's Game Six is one of the all-time underrated World Series performances. Eight innings of one-hit ball in a clincher against one of the most ferocious lineups in recent baseball history. Oh, and it was a 1-0 game, so no margin for error.

I lucked my way into a ticket to that game. That one hit was dog****, too.

AR: Yes, I'll sign that deal.
JS: Awesome. I'll send the papers over in the morning.
AR: Sounds great, we're going to do great things together Mr. Schuerholz.
JS: Good night.
AR: Buenos Noches.

Alternately:

JS: I have not had any talks or negotiations with the San Diego Padres at all concerning any player, let alone a player the caliber of Fred McGriff.
Skip: Ok, that's that...you heard it hear first, Fred McGriff will not be an Atlanta Brave
JS: Oh, did I mention Fred McGriff is coming to Atlanta!

John Hart had JS's phone tapped when they we're golfing together a couple days earlier at the winter meetings. Hart listened intently, and with the help of Mr. Tom Hicks...doubled down on the Braves offer.

JS: Frank Wren's my boy, I hand picked him to be my successor, he's great and going to bring a championship back to the city of Atlanta.
FW: Thanks, Mr Scheuholz that means a lot coming from a guy with as much success with you
JH: I'm tired of golfing, I'm available!
JS: Who's this Frank Wren guy? He's single handedly ruined this organization, he needs to go. I don't know who hired him, but whoever it is needs to be held accountable!
JH: Ah yes!
JS: John Hart is the man to lead the Braves into a Brave New World!

Didn't take long for the wheels to fall off even the championship highlight video thread. Somebody had to seize the opportunity. "Look at MEEEeeeee. I'm a message board comedian!!!!!!"
