Avilan was throwing harder than usual, 95-96 mph on most fastballs. But he couldn't command it hardly at all. What good is the extra velo without command?

Walked two hitters that have been stuggling mightily lately too. I mean, those guys would give BJs in exchanges for hits right now and he does them a favor by throwing that 96 mph fastball in the LH Batters box.
