I'm pretty sure I was chastised just yesterday for saying we have over performed and will most likely not continue

It was like 2-3 days prior where you basically said you were wrong based on the results.

I said I was wrong based on the results - because I expected the offense to be extremely bad. I couldn't argue with the results.

But then while looking at everything, I realized we had some crazy over achievement for many people in April that has predictably not continued in May. The team is still winning due to pitching. But I suspect we'll have more games like last night. Also - when Shelby inevitably regresses, that will hurt. Although Julio should pitch better if he's healthy

There is also the small matter of the pinch hitting and hitting with RISP, where we have done very well relative to league and to our hitting in lower leverage situations.

Even if you buy into the argument that there is a new and better approach to situational hitting, there will be regression with respect to pinch hitting and hitting with RISP.

dude, give it a rest. no one "assured" you of anything. we have to wait and see. we will find out. our approach is much, much better and our offense, even with this crazy lull we've had, STILL has better numbers. we will see.
