6/9/15: GDT - San Diego Padres @ Atlanta Braves

Nice play by Peterson to get out of that, ball looked like it came out of his glove and he reached and caught it before throwing to first for the out.

There have been a lot of painful booth interviews with former players over the years, but I've got to say, David Justice is a great interview.

It's night-and-day: dude just has that on-camera charisma and a clear, conversational ease.

I honestly wouldn't have been sad in the slightest if he'd have been the one to stick around, with Chip & Joe exiting the booth instead.

Guy is captivating. He could get a TV gig on MLB network no questions asked.

One of the toughest ones here recently was Javy Lopez on his bobblehead night earlier this year. I was begging for it to be over it was so uncomfortable.

He was an analyst on ESPN for a couple years. Called one of our playoff games actually.

Joe actually said last night that there was no guarantee that Justin would have had a good enough year to warrant a long-term contract.

He (and some posters here) must have been confusing him with another Upton last year.

Starting Gomes is working out. Fails to get the runner to 2nd as well as allowing the 3rd run to score. I doubt Todd lets that ball drop to score Norris in the 5th.

Starting Gomes vs a RH. Brilliant because when he drops a 0 for 4 he still plays brutal D. Win all around.
