Not sure what is more frustrating to watch....

A team with a ton of potential fall flat on their ass a year after winning 90+games or a team not expected to compete, being very competitive in the standings but having a bullpen give away a few games a week, not allowing the team to compete

And I knew that was coming. He made bone head plays, but he also has done little things that people have criticized him for. He was framing and blocking pitches today. I'm not down on him at all and I'm biased but if you've seen him throughout the minors, he's a player that has to play. Not sporadically either. We don't know what we have in the guy, but I for one am not down on him. Now that guy named Fredi? Different story.

It's really not when you think about it. Dumpster diving for relief pitchers is what they did this winter. You get what you pay for. Ignoring the bullpen the way they did, they deserve this.

I said before i didnt like how Hart gutted the pen while most of the other moves have worked out.

If we win just half of those 8 games, we're 33-27, in 1st in the East, and just a game back of the Giants for the third best record in the NL. In a throwaway/rebuild season we're one just halfway decent/competent bullpen away from being atop of the division 60 games into the season. Instead, we're saddled with the worst bullpen in baseball and we're still somehow just two games below .500.
