Over his last 12 games, #Braves leadoff man Jace Peterson:

346/.424/.519 with 9R, 6RBI and 7 XBH.

He had 4 XBH his first 45 games.

#Braves 1B Freddie Freeman is batting .362 and slugging .776 over his last 15 games with 7 HR, 16 RBI and 13 R.

It started with his half day off in SF. In the 13 games before that he was hitting 200/286/300. In the 13 games since he's hitting 388/456/812

If Freddie continues to make these gradual improvements it really changes what we need moving firward. He is turning into one of the 10 best hitters in baseball.

I love this 1-4 in the lineup.

Peterson hitting #1 - .270/.347/.387
Maybin hitting #2 - .329/.386/.392
Freeman hitting #3 - .322/.394/.528
Markakis hitting #4 - .304/.398/.402

With OBP like that its hard not to score.

I like Folty, but he's so frustrating. I don't know how many guys he gets 0-2, 1-2 and throws a flat FB down in the zone or a breaking pitch. He's not bad, he just doesn't have that one defining K pitch and it's so frustrating.

Jeez. As I type, Folty does the exact same thing that is so annoying. 0-2 count and he throws a pretty awful breaking ball right over the plate to be hit. 1st and 3rd, no outs.
