What punishment does he deserve to fit this crime without us having to pay the bill?
This reminded of the day when I was sitting in an office with my colleagues at Lockheed Martin when over the comm, "There was a shooting at Heath High School". Two of the five had high school kids at that school. I never seen so many cars almost hit each other trying to get out of the plant. The shooter targeted students that were praying before school start. That is sick.
Now imagine in church, a person comes in, say nothing and just observe, you are thinking, maybe a convert, what not, and then open fire. That is cold blooded and calculated.
Now we will see guns in black churches especially non establish whites who enters. I know the church I grew up as a kid, we had a few whites, but they live in town and I knew if someone new came in the ushers would watch them (in the 70's I don't know if they had weapons, I assume not).
I know our church now back home is like 70/30 black to white, but a lot of mix couples as well.
