Around Baseball 2015 Edition

Interesting last couple pages.

Do find it funny BRule posts when Heyward gets on a hot streak.

thethe is right though. Alot of people never gave the rebuild a chance and said we'd be lucky to contend by 2018-2020 when we in fact could very well contend for the division next year dependng what happens this winter.

Not bad for a clueless FO.

Phil Coke is available.

His lines haven't been so hot—in fact, they blow—but maybe if we put him on the bump we can get his career back on the rails, and maybe have another sell-high candidate at the deadline.

Well, before the season I said the Braves would win the same amount of games as last year. I.E. they would finish about two games under .500. So, actually, thus far, I told YOU so.

I said we would win around 75-78 games which I still believe unless Viz/Withrow help the pen.

Is the rule 5 guy from the Rockies going to be a pen option in the second half?

He had surgery in June of last year so I would wait 14 months at least wiht a pitcher so I don't think theres a high degree of liklihood he impacts the current years team.

I assure you did.

Even you weren't crazy enough to think a lineup that included EY jr, Gomes, and CJ every day was going to be an "improvement"

Most people including you said the offense would be all-time bad, one of the worst in baseball and way worse than last years jugular lineup.

While many others aka the homers thought there wouldnt be much difference with the offenses.

Very interesting. The counter is what happens when your bullpen arms are falling off in August? (If they are, obviously)

I suppose the cure for that is to continue to develop pitching so that you can shuffle bullpen arms to the majors.
