Hinkie raped the Kings in that trade.

Really isn't that bad for Sacto. THey get rid of a couple terrible contracts and lose Staukas, who probably isn't going to end up as much. The swap of draft picks possibly mean nothing.

Now, the Kings probably waste all this great cap space they have, but the trade makes sense. And Misic might be involved. The first round pick is top 10 protected.

Great great great trade for Philly. They take up bad contracts that they obviously can afford to take on and they get back multiple good assets.

You think they might take David Lee's deal if GS gave them a couple 1's?

Draymond was never going anywhere, and he absolutely earned this deal. Can count on one hand # of guys who do what he does on defense.

Hmmm...where have we heard this before?

What are the Kings doing?

Also, are we finally starting to realize that the city that your basketball team resides in has very little to do with whether or not free agents go there?

No, that would be dumb.

FAs choose: money, winning, location.

The Kings shed a **** ton of bad contracts and can now sign a couple free agents. They will probably be improved.

Good deal for both teams. The pick swaps may end up being nothing as the Sixers aren't going to be good anytime soon. I would guess the Kings will be better than the Sixers in each of the next 2 years. Losing Landry and Thompson is a positive. Nik Stauskas is nothing special, but you have to give him up (some promise, I guess) to get something in return (cap space). The actual trade of a first round pick is top 10 protected.

The Kings seem to be in on Monta and Matthews now. That seems like a far deal for them.
