Ten years ago I would have preferred him over any owner in baseball.
 
Some idiot DC writer actually wrote an article about the Braves announcers slamming Harper for not running to first last night on a foul ball. Seriously...that is sports news in DC? What is hilarious he seems to be saying it was ridiculous that they were slamming him yet indicating in the article that the Washington announcers slammed him as well as John Kruk on Baseball Tonight.
 
Would not be surprised if the Orioles trade young (as a salary dump) tomorrow and also send an international signing slot to offset. Kiley McDaniel mentioned in this week's podcast that the Orioles are typically very light spenders in the international market.

The article wasnt about the Braves writers. The article was about Williams talking to Harper about not running the flyball out. The Braves and other announcers were brought up in the article. What they didnt mention was hes playing with a sprained left knee and bad right hammy.

I'm glad he got over whatever was screwing up his walk rate. I was concerned for a bit there. Normally I'm never concerned for Heyward but he never showcased peripheral issues like that before. Assuming his walk rate normalizes, he should be in the 120+ wRC+ range again. I'm glad it seems like his power outage was what we thought, the result of his injury.

I suspect that will be the case as well. He's gone 1-3 with a walk tonight as well. WRC+ at 116.

I rmemeber Yankee fans slobbing his knob. When I said he didn't have the stuff to cut it in the bigs as a starter they acted like I said Derek Jeter eats babies.
 
Heyward grounds into a DP to end the game off Kimbrel.

Am i allowed to say a bad thing about him or is that banned around these parts?
