Farewell to Wood, Peraza, Jimmy Johns, and Avilans.

If Olivera was 3 years younger it would make sense. But he's on the world side of 30 and has a bum elbow. He's every bit as big an injury risk as Wood with the added bonus of not having proven he's major league ready and being a risk for age related collapse like Uggla.

We traded equal risks at best except ours is proven to be a major leaguer.

If they wanted him so bad they could have upped their offer in the offseason and kept Wood and Peraza.

The Braves are trading Wood because they're worried he might be a injury risk and we trade for all of these guys coming off TJ lol.

That's a great point, but you need to work on your a/an grammer... damn it... grammar.

Man. Just saw the video of Wilmer Flores on the field in tears while the they are getting stomped in the 8th. The Mets dropped the ball on this one.

Wood is nowhere close to injury risk that Oliveira is. Oliveira career is a big injury and that was pre-30

I'm not arguing that. Just feel this is not good value at all. Trade wood for olivera and that's it. Not all the other pieces.

Maybe we are still getting Puig but Los Angeles has instituted a gag order until the deal is done for fear of pissing him off.

Trying my damndest here
