Planned Parenthood - Proudly Carrying Out Sanger and Friends' Vision

Do you really think they'd abolish thier no-abortion policy in this scenario or just keep it behind closed doors?

You didn't sense that? I REALLY miss that "dripping with sarcasm" emoticon!!! I use that sort of "overstatement" in class a lot and when I do I get those strange looks and I just point to a spot on the wall behind me, where I told my students many times that I wanted a "dripping with sarcasm" Fathead for Christmas. But alas, I'm still waiting for it...

I think it would be pretty difficult to keep an abortion practice behind closed doors. Obviously you'd have folks to audit their practices. I'm sure there would be some shenanigans, but it would be significantly better than what we have now, if you are against abortions that is.

About the only thing that they might do is spin it off as a supposedly different entity doing abortion. But in reality it'd be the same folks living out Sanger's 'heroic vision' of ridding the US of the unfit (a.k.a., white trash, blacks and hispanics).

Is Huckabee really being honest when he says he would be against an abortion for a 10 year old incest victim???

yup. and the word abortion literally is not even said once.
so it's FAR from what sturg said.

If you want to stick your head in the sand and try to side-step his question because you think the strength of your argument rests on correct/incorrect contextual usage of 'abortion' then, by all means, have at it.

LOL.
That whole thing was about educating black people and making contraception more affordable and easy to use.
So, saying they were founded on "let's abort as many black babies as possible" is not true, and your link does not support that statement. unless you consider contraception and education about it abortion. but no where is abortion even mentioned, but it does talk about a lot of other birth control methods, specifically education and affordable contraception. sounds a lot like problems we still have today.

I kind of feel like I'm spoon feeding you **** now, but I guess it's a worthy endeavor.

Sanger: Modern studies indicate that insanity, epilepsy, criminality, prostitution, pauperism, and mental defect, are all organically bound up together and that the least intelligent and the thoroughly degenerate classes in every community are the most prolific. Feeble-mindedness in one generation becomes pauperism or insanity in the next. There is every indication that feeble-mindedness in its protean forms is on the increase, that it has leaped the barriers, and that there is truly, as some of the scientific eugenists [sic] have pointed out, a feeble-minded peril to future generations – unless the feeble-minded are prevented from reproducing their kind. To meet this emergency is the immediate and peremptory duty of every State and of all communities.

We identified 116 ZIP codes with more than one population control facility. Of those, 84 were disproportionately black and/or Hispanic. What this means is that, when the American family planning industry places multiple facilities in a ZIP code, that ZIP code is more than two-and-a-half times as likely to be disproportionately minority as not.

Sometimes you've just got to push the wool aside.

the answer to his question, using your link as support, remains "no." not side-stepping.

My link was simply provided as a means to introduce you to an existing thought-group that views Sanger as a eugenist with underlying race control philosophies. If you are viewing that as 'support' then you are missing the point.

And yet none of that says "our mission is to abort black babies."
there are many forms of population control. the answer to his question is still no.

you're right, i'm not sure i get your point, because nothing you're posting makes what sturg said true. when you responded to my initial (sarcastic) post, it seemed to be in support of sturg's incorrect statement.
