pretty sure no one has brought charges of bribery or even taken HRC to court for divorce or substantiated rumors of sexual misconduct.

What you are mistaking is the difference between a rumor and an actual scandal.
And what else you are missing is the source of the rumors

What scandalous event or action ?
////

AA really isn't black.

Now, is AA's racial status a scandal or a rumor ?

I find Laura Bush's shoes and sensually handling Tony Blair a scandal

Ask Bedell, ask Okie, ask Dalyn. They seen the pics of me and my beautiful WHITE wife and MIX children.

then discuss.

So, you are saying AA really isn't black ?
I've read it here and it's been questioned many times ---

Mike Piazza -- gay or straight ?

" rumor or malicious gossip about scandalous events or actions. "

Whatever it is that you are trying to do here is falling spectacularly flat.

Clinton stored government e-mails on a private, unsecured e-mail server. Why? It's being investigated.

The rumors have involved everything from cover-up to inadvertent stupidity. But the scandal is the act itself (especially as it derives from her inability/unwillingness to provide the e-mails for non-partisan investigatory bodies).

I've actually always thought you were black, but that's neither here nor there.

BWAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Sav definitely know my skin color. He is my n***a (in Denzel Washington's voice).

Unlike my skin color, Billary hides, deflects, distorts, everything in her power to keep this on the down low. I am a straight shooter asshole that will not pull any punches.

But back to the original point,...
No Hillary Scandal has had legs.
Agree with her policies or not, not voting for her because of her "scandals" is stupid and uninformed
Absolutely true. A "scandal" denotes the bad news has taken hold and harmed a reputation significantly, and in Hilary's case nothing to this point has. Her negatives come more from her stiff public speaking style (often an asset for a politician) and the GOP's constant attack on her. But people persuaded by these would not have supported her anyway.

That's an incorrect definition.

The word does not describe the extent of the damage beyond "general public outrage" -- you would need to add a qualifier to do that. If you haven't seen general public outrage over the e-mail issue then you haven't been keeping up with the news for the greater part of the past half-year.

We're grasping at straws here to defend Hillary. It's really amusing, even coming from the usual suspects.

Her negatives (and no, 'stiff public speaking' is absolutely NOT an asset for a politician in 2015 [sure, maybe 1915]) revolve around the fact that she is a career politician, primarily driven by opportunism boosted by unearned celebrity, as well as widely being considered to be a frigid megalomaniac. The Clinton's as a unit have a LONG history of soliciting donations from the most unsavory of humans, not to mention questionable ethics arising from their management of the Clinton Foundation.

But it must be nice to dismiss all uncomfortable truths as a product of the opposition's hate machine.

I am not defending Hillary per se.

I am defending responsible public discourse.
Based on who what when where and why

You've offered no examples of irresponsible public discourse in relation to HRC.

If you are going to come back with snippets from Fox News, Limbaugh, or some blatantly right-wing source, then please don't waste my time.

I don't consume partisan tripe.

you make me laugh -- "consume partisan tripe"

Stop it you're killin' me.

/////

I've noted 25 years of drip drip drip " irresponsible public discourse in relation to HRC. "

Unfortunately for your point Fox,Limbaugh (Roger Ailes) et al are driving the bus - and have been since 1991-92.

Oh, I forgot you read the Guardian.
whatever
