Interesting to see Jace Peterson getting some playing time in left.

Trying to get him acclimated to the role of super sub. I still want to see him get regular playing time at second with a healthy hand but a super utility role would be a fine backup option.

so far starting pitching hasnt been too great, but i will chalk that up to first start of the spring. hell i think newcomb said yesterdays start was only the 2nd time facing live hitters this spring.

to my knowledge, I don't think anyone who is supposed to be on the opening day roster as a starter has pitched yet.. unless you think Perez will be.

Perhaps, but I don't think anyone really expects him to be there, and I would guess that includes the FO. I would expect to see him in AAA for a couple months.

Probably. It would be nice to see someone, like him, to come in and force the issue.

It's also not concerning either since it's spring training and really doesn't matter at all.

Why would Teheran throw a minor league game? Why not throw a regular spring training game?

Nice to see the Braves claw their way back in this one.

Albies is feisty looking. I can't remember ever seeing a player as diminutive as him. He's going to be a huge fan favorite

I would assume just to get him some work against live hitters. He's the one pitcher cemented in the rotation... there are a ton of pitchers management wants to see to make their decision on filling out the rotation I'm sure.

And that reason is why I think the Braves are going to have a very bad rotation this season. You can't enter a season with 4 holes to fill in a 5 man rotation.

If today's game is any indication, the race for the #1 pick in 2017 is going to be a fierce contest.
