6-17-4 is an awful record, but this team has actually played relatively well this spring in my opinion. I could be alone, but I've enjoyed the product we have.

It kind of amazes me that they are seriously contemplating having Folty in the rotation without sending him down to AAA for a couple months. I say this because I think he has significant potential as a starter and is coming off an off-season where he underwent a major operation that caused him to lose a lot of weight and come into spring way behind in conditioning. Why the rush with the attendant risk of a cascade injury.

I think it's just you. Pitching has been horrible and we are about to begin the season with more holes than we did to start the spring.

Welp. Might be prudent to scan the options in the SP market next couple days.

Get used to it dak, after Teheran the Braves starting pitching right now is mostly weak at the MLB level. When you're signing someone like Norris who stinks pretty much every other year to MLB deal and he's considered your number two starter your starting pitching is bad. But hey this is a rebuild season and we do have a tough schedule. So hopefully we'll get a number one pick out of a bad season this go-around. I am certainly hoping so.

Re Norris: Well, yeah, but at least we signed him for the even year, right?

Ehh. Wisler looks like he is hitting the next level. Finished strong last year and has looked fantastic in Spring. Norris should be a serviceable 3rd starter and Chacin will be solid if unspectacular. Not that bad
