GDT vs Nats on 4/14 ... No FF today

BTW, I missed most of today's game but just from reading the game thread not challenging has already cost Mallex two stolen bases and missed another challenge in just the last few games. It reminds me of him missing so many challenges at various points last year. I don't know if it's Fredi or whomever is doing the reviews for us, but we must be one of the worst in the league at missing challenges we could and would surely win. Further, I am not asking that we do like Tampa Bay and challenge most everything but we should challenge A LOT more.

Yknow, **** that. The team ERA is 6.00 and we're hitting .200. This falls at the feet of the guys who hired the players. Hart and Coppalella. Nobody else.

Stop trying to say Fredi is the problem. He averaged 90+ wins a year when he had a decent roster.

Cut the bull**** Gov. as my post was clearly about us not challenging when we should, I only mentioned Fredi in it in saying "I don't know if it's Fredi or whomever is doing the reviews for us..."

That said, if you want to debate Fredi's managing in general, then bring it on and we can do so. But save the bull**** looking for a post and taking it out of context that is clearly about another subject.

Soler has an OPS under .600 so far, not like he's doing anything and he's just plain bad defensively. I am not sold on him becoming anything special with the bat so considering his bad defense, I'd say no. Further, I'd have Flowers catching Teheran and most of the staff because I do believe AJP is so bad he isn't doing Teheran or any of our starters any favors.

Haven't we learned our lesson with Cuban players? We'd go from weak contact with Olivera to no contact with Soler.

0-9 is really hard to do.

We've lost 14 straight in WSH... which is nearly impossible

Again, I'm old and someone as old will have to help me out. But I seem to recall a season when the Padres only beat the Braves once out of 18 games. There are a lot of strange-but-trues in the history of baseball.
