GDT: braves vs Brewers game 3

The way Wisler got out of the first was really encouraging. He's not known for a lot of strikeouts, but in a situation where he really needed Ks he got two of them.

Maybe he really is a guy that pitches to contact by choice, and not just a guy who doesn't miss enough bats.

Inciarte has ... not looked great in CF tonight.

The balls hit over his head were hit hard and most wouldn't get close to catching them unless playing no doubles. If you're talking about the attempt to bare hand that ball, that second run scores either way unless he somehow bare hands it and makes a great throw.

It's not that he didn't catch those balls; you're right that the two deep balls were screamers, and Peralta's hit had some weird spin. Nonetheless, he's looked, to me, as if he's getting less-than-ideal jumps on those balls—each time appearing a step slow with his route recognition.

Obviously he's a very good defender, and maybe he's just adapting to CF in Turner, but he's had what looked to me like a few mental farts out there tonight.
