I think we have to try and sign him. They were taking about it on MLB radio last night and they think it's a forgone conlucsion he's gone. I hope not, he's the new Chipper for this team. I want to see him retire as a Brave. It's nice we have Gattis as an insurance policy but I just don't want to see Mac leave.

I think its up to Mac. If he wants to be a Braves for longer he will be. Braves won't be able to pay what the Yankees/Dodgers/Tigers will pay.

simply a matter of years we can pay him a good buck but can't go long. I'd stop at 3. Mac agent will tell him to get 5, and he probably will. Wouldn't you?
