Garcia has had tons of injury problems. He is likely a 0-1 win upgrade over someone like Wisler...at the cost of $12M and a prospect that has a pulse.

Yet another "win now" move that won't make the team win, but does buy time for the young pitchers to develop while giving the illusion they are building a winner. Hopefully a non-prospect went to the Cards.

Good. I was worried that 5 MLB starters meant they weren't going to trade for Archer or Sale. I'm glad to hear they will still get one of those Aces and roll with a 6 man rotation!

I think Gant was the best piece in that package.
