Sooo start a career awful hitter over a career above average hitting center fielder when up by 13 games. BJ has been awful but let him try to work out of it. Guess what, he will be the starter next year and Schafer doesn't make us better
Because the past is always an accurate indicator when clearly Schafer has matured and isn't nearly as awful as he was. No argument that BJ will be and should be starting longterm. But get over yourself thinking he's going to do anything of significance this year. Just gotta wait it out til hopefully Heyward is back and can play center.
