Thats what I'm seeing now. Thank you for the clarification.

Are there stories of citizens homes being illegally searched in this 'raid'?
You're deflecting. We're talking about knocking on random doors and "asking to present papers". Without a warrant, that seems to be an illegal search.
correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't Obama deport about 3 million illegal immigrants? More than the trump target?
Just curious if it was a problem then, or just now?
The ICE agent is at their door and asking them this. That is not an illegal search. If you deny and something happens after that then I think it would get into what you're talking about.
Well, if an ICE agent came to my door and asked me to present papers, first I'd say, is this a joke? When he said No, I'd then say wtf is he talking about? When he said he's looking for illegal immigrants, I'd say, yeah I'm not presenting anything and what's his badge number. If he proceeded to arrest me, he would see some big time lawsuits hit him and the state like a litigious tornado. Seems like a waste of state resources.
Agreed on the procedural points. Is that what is happening?

That's part of the question. The other part of the question though is if they ARE sweeping through whole neighborhoods door-to-door, what kind of illegality is that? And if the courts were to decide that such a random house-to-house search is legal, then where does that stop? You see where I'm going with this? It's not a free state if the police are randomly coming to your door asking you to identify yourself, which would be immensely intimidating. Now, a way to combat that I would think is if this tactic was called out and everyone was told to refuse any identification if ICE or police come to your door (without a warrant that is). They can't arrest everyone or even randomly, so I suppose there is that.
What leads you to believe the endgame has changed, that most suddenly have an inherently greater negative perception of Trump than they did on election day?
If it's not illegal to ask then all of this is irrelevant. I think illegals should be identified. It's very easy to prove citizenship IMO.
So warrants become obsolete. Mm hmm, well, let's hope it doesn't become illegal to be non-Christian or gay or a protester or or or.... I know I know, I'm being ridiculous now. Guess we'll see.
Do you need a warrant to knock on someone's door to ask them questions?
dude.
Is it?
Sure you don't. You also have no recourse when they tell you to **** off.
If only there were some way to know.
