When you and I disagree it is not because you are not being personally accountable it is because we have two different views

I understand how hard it i for low income families to get health insure.

Most can't afford it on account of "personal acountability" but because they have to choose between eating, getting back and forth to work, school cloths and paying outrageous monthly premiums.

The more we discuss health care it becomes startling clear who is raising or has raised families and struggles with the reality of day to day economics.

And the socio economic standing of my fellow Braves fans

This is an interesting take.

Here is a story for you. My family is responsible with our money. We bought a home well within our means, drive old cars, use cheap phones, buy our kids' clothes at consignment sales, and don't have an expensive cable package. Our biggest monthly bill is now medical insurance.

That's not because of the market.

It isn't because we are irresponsible with our health.

It is due entirely to our monthly cost increasing a bit over 50% when Obamacare rolled out. My insurance premiums now cost more per month than my mortgage, for less coverage than what I had prior to Obamacare.

This is due entirely to people like you who think I should be forced to pay for others.

So thank you for your government handout ideology. Thanks for always voting for the crook who promises to take more of my money to give it to you and those like you. Thanks for only following others with the same mindset on Twitter so you don't have your little Statist bubble popped.

Just do me a favor, will ya? Do the thousands of dollars you guys get transferred from my income every year to yours mean enough to you that you will grant me a small favor? It won't cost you anything, it's even easier than making a big sign that says "Not My President!" or some other nonsense.

Stop calling yourselves Democrats, or Liberals, or Progressives. Just call yourselves Dolists. You want nothing but to be on the dole, so just be honest about it, that's all I ask.

Wise decision on cable. Better yet , get offa cable all together!! We use streaming services. Better for the head and worlds cheaper
There ain't nuthin to be ashamed of buying your kids cloths on consignment. Until of course they get to middle school when peer pressure and hormones overwhelm. That may prove troublesome in their later teen years

You should share notes with Sturg on that 50% number.

The market is dictated by ACA so why would you say it is not the market that has driven up your premiums? Have you taken the time to read how insurance industry gouged the system then side pointed to Obamacare while saying "who, ME " ??
Has your state made use of Medicaid Expansion ? If so, are you taking advantage ? If not, did you vote for the people who are blocking Medicaid Expansion ?
Have you read how ACA works and what is in fact available to you ? Or are you afraid to read anythign that might say anything good or neutral containing the word Obama ?

Insurance rates go up. My car insurance went up again, my home insurance has been steady for two years now after yearly increases for 10 years.
Pretty sure outside of civil protection and clean water etc I don't take anythig from the government.
Dental insurance to me is a waste of money. For as often as I use it and what it costs it is cheaper to pay out of pocket. My guess is it goes up every year.
With children, a family needs dental insurance.
Are you counting that in your health insurance costs ?

I am registered Democrat to vote.
My family too has thousands of dollars of taxes paid every year going to schools,day care centers, recreation programs . My kids are grown and I personally get nothing tangible from those monies.
I would feel petty thinking that is my money and it is being taken from me.
When in fact if you (Jaw) have children and they use those local playgrounds and rec programs,attend public schools or even private schools and use "my" roads to transport your kids to that private school --- you sir , by your logic, are taking food off of my table
See how skewed that mind set is? Not to mention shortsighted and selfish
 
What I especially like is the left pointing to increases under Obamacare as a part of the reality, but are pointing to increases under the Republican bill as a reason not to do it.
