Game on April 8

Glad I haven't bought my tickets for June series yet. The price is dropping as we speak. We can't get a key hit for anything
 
Good thing a Lord of the Rings movie is on.

If Im gonna watch something on tv for 3-4 hours, at least I can watch some offense and entertainment in that movie.
 
Snit said Kemp was available to PH... I really hope that was posturing bc if he was saving him then he's dumber than I thought.

1-4 to start the season. Better than last year's 0-5 I guess

If given enough opportunities then yes anyone can get them. It's just like accumulating hits. Juan Pierre led the league in 2006 but only the true believers would think he was a good hitter.

I am not ready to concede the season yet. Try and be a PosiBrave for once in your life. 1 and 4 is already a 1 game improvement over last year in only 5 games! By that pace we should improve over last year by 30 games.
 
Can't believe people actually thought that this could be an 85+ win team as currently constructed. The bullpen and defense are terrible, and the rotation and offense might manage to be just above average if everything breaks right. But, even being above average in those areas (and that's till a big IF) is not even enough to counteract just how bad those other two areas are.

As I and many others said 2+ years ago, 2017 is a lie.

This sort of nonsense in why people give you grief. Freeman came up to bat with RISP once the last two games, him hitting better would have likely changed little. He can't drive in people when nobody is on base.

And he can't be the person that is driven in? As many have said the more people that don't make an out the more likely it is that the team wins. Ender/Freeman have not started to produce. People are freaking out over a 5 game stretch as if it means definitely what this team is going to be. Aroudn these parts its ok to overreact to negative small smaples but not ok for positive small samples.
