Kemp to DL

Lets all congratulate MLB for their decision to start the season with so many games up north where it's cold and muscles stay tight!

Its like a monkey throwing feces at a depth chart right now as to who gets the call to replace the OF.

How does Mel Rojas not get a shot? What would it hurt? We need a SS playing LF? That's just dumb.

It's bizarre. what happened to that Adam Walker fella?

I'm happy for Camargo, because I've been a fan of his (not that he has much of a future with the Braves) but . . . guh. Our bench.

This was my thought, too. Rojas certainly deserves a shot more than a light hitting middle infielder.

I believe the plan was for him to be our regular second baseman.

I think the idea with Rodriguez was that he could be moved all over the field. He was going to see a lot of time at second but was going to get starts all over the place. When we lost him we lost a ton of flexibility.

If the Braves had SRod instead of Phillips and Kemp was injured, the Braves would still be starting Jace in LF, or at 2B if SRod moved to LF.

The SRod injury had no effect on how bad the Braves bench currently is.
