REAL FOOTBALL Thread

I'll be attending my first regular season football game this October 20th when the Cowboys come to Philly to play the Eagles! My gf bought be tickets. As a Cowboys fan, there's a part of me that's nervous to wear my Cowboys gear, but it must be done.

And to top it off, her uncle has extensive tailgates starting at about 8 AM. That will be a day.

I wouldn't wear the jersey. But if you do. Don't put it on until you're in the stadium and have security and **** involved. At the parking lot it's free game.

I've considered this.
However, I worked at the stadium last year (the Linc) and on Cowboys gameday, there were a lot of Cowboys fans in the pro shop and all over and nothing happened. In the parking lot I'll be with a lot of Eagles fans.
 
Flacco makes some lucky passes more than likely with his eyes closed for 20 MM a season. This world isn't fair.

That's because in the stadium there's security. As far as being around Eagles fans, there's some value in it. But the truth is that it's still better to be safe than sorry. Cause there will be a ton of Eagles fans around you. More than your friends can stave off.
 
.Baltimore is awful. If they win it all again this season the game is fixed without a doubt. Flacco...lol.
 
My Broncs are looking good. My fantasy team in both leagues I have Peyton, Thomas, Thomas and Welker, put it this way, I already won.

On the other end of the spectrum, I had Jacoby Jones who got run into by his own player while trying to make a fair catch. Go team.

I am playing my wife in one league and my wife's best friend in the other. They are whining now how unfair my team is. I said, well one game, I will lose this year when they are all sitting, LOL.
 
This might be the best offensive collection of weapons Peyton ever had. Yes, even better than Harrison/Wayne/Clark/James.
 
Defense played a lot better than I thought, shutdown the run game.

DRC did a great job on Torrey, great coverage.

Pass rush was a little meh but coverage was good last night, them not havering Boldin/Pitta helped too.

Offense was pretty good, Welker is so damn good. And glad to see Julius have a good game. Not sure it's the best offense hes ever had, but it's up there.

Running game is still concerning but the Ravens front is so massive, so not surprised either by not running great either.
 
Thomas is a great talent, that's for sure. But Welker is a bit player. Harrison and Wayne were 2 insane talents. You're right that Peyton made them better, but they're amazing talents. Harrison and Wayne at their peak were insane.
 
Joe Flacco looked AWFUL last night. Should have been 3 Tds and 4 INTs. Really poor performance considering they just dropped a money bomb on ya joe.
 
He is pretty devoid of weapons and his best offensive lineman went down yesterday in addition to his second WR.
